Draper and Greenhalgh lead the way in Palma
GREAT Britain's Chris Draper and Peter Greenhalgh are leading the way in Palma as they took victory in the day's final two 49er races at the ISAF World Cup.
The duo warmed up with a seventh place and third place finish before taking the two victories to keep them on 12 points.
Former world champions Stevie Morrison and Ben Rhodes remain close behind in second place after picking up a fourth, third, ninth and first place to join Draper and Greenhalgh on 12 points.
Compatriots Dylan Fletcher and Alain Sign have dropped down from third to sixth while John Pink and Rick Peacock are in seventh.
France's Emmanuel Dyen and Sthephane Christidis, who were leading after the first day's racing, move down to third after they came in third, second, tenth and fourth.
Bryony Shaw, the Olympic windsurfing bronze medallist, has moved up to first in the women's fleet standings after an impressive day's work saw her come home fourth in the third race before taking victory in the fourth race of the event.
Meanwhile, Nick Thompson, who won the Laser class in Palma 12 months ago, followed up on his first and sixth place finishes with a fifth and 18th to put him sixth overall.
The men's Finn fleet was able to get underway after adverse weather conditions had postponed proceedings yesterday with Edward Wright posting fifth and eighth place finishes to sit sixth in the standings while Mark Andrews is just behind him in seventh.
