British shooters take European team title

GREAT Britain's Johanne Brekke, Michelle Smith and Sharon Lee struck team gold at the European Shooting Championships in Croatia.

The trio edged Finland into silver by just one point with Brekke the top scorer with Germany completed the podium in the women's 50m rifle prone team event.

However, Brekke just missed out on a medal in the individual competition finishing fifth as Sweden's Marie Enqvist took gold.

Well done to the girls for their fantastic achivement, you were unlucky not to get an individual medal jo but keep at it
