The jumper from Switzerland shows no sign of losing the form that took him to normal hill and large hill golds in Vancouver as he topped the pile with 284.4 points.

Ammann, who now has 14 World Cup victories to his name, pulled out a huge second jump of 131m to take him way ahead of the field after his initial jump of 128m.

Poland's Adam Malysz, who won double silver in Canada, was Ammann's closest rival but could only reach 274.3 points to take silver in Finland.

Austria's Thomas Morgenstern took bronze with 272.4 points ahead of compatriot Gregor Schlierenzauer who just missed out in fourth.

Ammann retains his lead at the top of the ski jumping overall standings with 1349 points while Schlierenzauer is second on 1242 and Morgenstern occupies third with 809 points.
