AUSTRIA'S Gregor Schlierenzauer underlined his status as the world's number one ranked ski-flyer with a second consecutive victory before a home crowd in Bad Mitterndorf.

Schlierenzauer, who set a hill record 24 hours previously, moved to second in the World Cup standings to reaffirm his pre-season pledge to challenge for the overall prize.

Finland's Harri Olli, the only other man to record 200m plus distances with both his jumps, took second while Switzerland's Simon Ammann was third to maintain his overall World Cup lead.
