The 2009 champions Pierre Vaultier and Xavier de le Rue, on the site of their victory two years ago, held off American pair Nick Baumgartner and Jonathan Cheever, with Norwegian pair Joachim Havikhagen and Stian Sivertzen finishing third in the men's event.

In the women's event 2010 Olympic silver medallist Déborah Antonioz and compatriot Nellie Moenne Loccoz made it a perfect weekend for France.

Antonioz managed to overhaul Canada's Maelle Ricker and American Callan Chythlook-Sifsof to claim the gold while Ricker and Dominique Maltais finished in silver with Chythlook-Sifsof and Lindsey Jacobellis having to settle for bronze.
