UNIVERSITY of Edinburgh student Carla Summerhill has been named as the sole female Great Britain representative in Taekwondo for the World University Games in Belgrade in July.

Summerhill, who won gold in the Scottish Cup in 2006 and 2008, will compete in the under 59kg category and will head to the games in great form after recently taking the British Championship title.

The 21-year-old will be joined in Serbia by Stirling University's Craig Eden, who will compete in the 62-67kg category.

And the two-time British Champion is no stranger to Belgrade having competed in a high-class field at the World University Taekwondo Championships in Belgrade last year.
