BRITISH Wrestling performance director Shaun Morley insists his troops are coming on swimmingly after they won five medals in two European competitions.

In Sardinia Team GB picked up three bronze medals as Krasimir Krastanov, Myroslav Dykun and Leon Rattigan all reached the podium.

And at the Krasnik International Tournament in Poland 20-year-old Craig McKenna also picked up third-place finishes.

And Morley is convinced the future looks bright for Team GB at London 2012, where they will go in search of their first wrestling medal since Los Angeles 1984.

"Our young wrestlers are becoming very competitive at an international level," said Morley.

"As we look ahead to the London 2012 Olympics, I am delighted at the progress we are making."
