British swim duo scrape in European Champions Cup final

JENNA Randall and Olivia Allison edged into Sunday's duet final at the synchronised swimming European Champions Cup in Andorra.

Their free routine - which has been tweaked since their Olympic debut in Beijing - ranked them eighth after qualifying with a 89.751 points score.

Only the top six advanced but because rules state that only one duet from each nation can progress - and the Ukraine and Italy had two teams in top seven - Randall and Allison qualified to their first major final.
