The 16-year old, who also reached the senior doubles quarter finals Down Under, lost just four games as she raced past Czech Republic's Kristyna Pliskova to win 6-3, 6-1 in 65 minutes.
Robson, who lifted the 2008 Wimbledon girls' title as a 14-year old, was beaten by Russia's Ksenia Pervak last year in Melbourne.
But with Pliskova's twin sister Karolina standing in her way in Saturday's final, Robson insists she is a much-improved player since 12 months ago.
"Last year I was really nervous going into it," said Robson, who partnered men's finalist Andy Murray at the Hopman Cup in the first week of January.
"I didn't feel comfortable playing against the girl in the final last year. But I think I've really improved since then in all aspects, especially my movement.
"I just feel more comfortable on court and I'd love to win my second junior grand slam here.
"I will be playing the identical twin sister of the girl I beat today so that should hopefully help me."
Meanwhile, Peter Norfolk and Lucy Shuker ensured there will be four Great British finalists in Australia after reaching the quad wheelchair singles and women's wheelchair doubles finals respectively.
World number one and defending champion Norfolk defeated USA's David Wagner 6-2, 0-6, 6-3 to guarantee progress from the round-robin group.
And Shuker and Australian partner Daniela di Toro, who lost their first grand slam final at Wimbledon last year, cruised past Germany's Katharina Kruger and Belgium's Annick Sevenans 6-1, 6-1 to set up a final clash with France's Florence Gravellier and Aniek van Koot of the Netherlands.
