Adlington ready for four-pronged Olympic assault at London 2012
WHAT a difference a year and a few medals make for Rebecca Adlington.

LONDON CALLING: Rebecca Adlington is counting down to London 2012 after her exploits at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi
Just a few months ago she was inconsolable on the poolside in Budapest as she failed to claim a European medal in the 800m freestyle event she had dominated just two years earlier at the Olympics.
A few days later she won 400m freestyle gold and she left the Commonwealth Games with two golds - in the 400m and 800m freestyle - and two bronze medals and, as importantly, self-belief restored.
Forget Delhi belly, Adlington just came down with gold fever.
The double Olympic champion was one of the busiest swimmers in the Indian capital - with six races in six days all leading to a place on the podium
And she insists fighting on four fronts is something she's ready to do again, with next year's World Championships in Shanghai the immediate target before all roads lead to London.
"I was really pleased with how I managed all four events and now I know I can handle it pretty well and it gives me the confidence that, if the programme, is right I could do it again," said Adlington, speaking at the London 2012 Olympic Park, as part of the Cadbury's Spots v Stripes campaign.
"It was massively important for me to finish on a high this year and be back up to where I was perhaps two years ago, because I was so disappointed with how the Worlds went last year.
"I just really wanted to stamp my mark on the 800m again because that is the one that has always meant so much more to me and it's not felt the same since Beijing.
"So it was just unbelievable to have that feeling again at the Commonwealth Games and I was thinking ‘finally' and it is a bit of weight lifted off my shoulders to be honest.
"It was so important in Delhi for me as a confidence thing and to just finish the season off on a high
"I am feeling really good about the next season and what is to come now."

4 Medals is unlikely,
4 Medals is unlikely, however she has huge potential over 200FR, We say her speed is the problem, it is, however she can do a decent 100M, 54.9s split SC on route to a 1.53s leg! That is not bad for an endurance swimmer, Although it will be hard to make the team, McClatchey,Jackson and Carlin etc.
Perhaps you should spend
Perhaps you should spend less time filling up on Cadbury's and more in the pool, then should would have a chance
the reality is that
the reality is that adlington will struggle to make the 200m final. talk of four medals is foolish
